” I called here because Blowlux and Drybar were booked solid. I’m so glad I did! I’m graduating with my MA tomorrow so I needed three appts, for myself my mom and my little sister. I couldn’t believe we got in at the same time after only calling a few hours prior. The location is prime, parking wasn’t too terrible, and the staff is sweet. The receptionist is European and his accent was a nice surprise too! :-)

The woman who washed my hair could have done a little more massage, but she was gentle and not as painful as Drybar. She was really sweet and kept checking on me to see if I wanted another water. The girl who did my hair (if only I remembered her name!) chatted just enough to ask what I was looking for and to get to know me, letting me relax and read my book most of the time. Talking over hair dryers is awkward anyway…

My hair is naturally long, thick, and pretty wavy. I wanted it blown out straight and she was magic! It’s really difficult to blow dry my hair well and to get it as straight as she did without a flat iron was impressive. My bangs are sideswept and pretty long and she styled them beautifully- which I can never quite accomplish.

This place may not be as trendy looking as Drybar or Blowlux, but for the price and the service I got, who cares? It took about 45 minutes for my appointment which is great- long enough that she put in the time to make me look awesome, but not so long that I was running late for other things that day.”
